henango County's Sheriff's Office has an opening for a Full-Time COOK. An employee in this class is responsible for preparing, cooking and serving a variety of meals and snacks for inmates. Incumbents also clean and maintain kitchen and dining room or cafeteria areas and equipment in a safe and sanitary manner. Work is performed under the general supervision of a higher level staff member in accordance with well established routines and procedures. Supervision over the work of others is not normally a requirement of an employee in this class. Does related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One year of full-time paid cooking or baking experience or its part-time equivalent. The position has a 40 hour work week and 2025 starting pay rate is $22.86 per hour
