"StreetAccount is a division of FactSet that aggregates, filters, and contextualizes real-time financial market news for institutional investors. We are adding to our team in the U.S. and seeking to fill the role of Market News Analyst. The role involves all aspects of providing content to our clients, from identifying information, research and news that is material and actionable, to writing concise comments that enable investors to immediately grasp their impact. The U.S. team works between 6am and 7pm ET covering the activity of all U.S. markets; most positions will occupy either the earlier or later portion of this time range. StreetAccount's parent company, FactSet, consolidates all the tools you need to monitor global markets, public and private companies, and equity and fixed income portfolios in a single, intuitive interface.Minimum Requirements:3+ years work experience in a market-focused role (analyst, trader, PM, equity/currency/bond sales, economist, investment banker, etc.)Understanding of financial statements and fundamental financial/business metrics across industries. Demonstrated financial writing experiences.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the futureCritical Skills: Familiarity with LLMs and other GenAI tools.Passionate interest in financial markets, as well as a clear understanding of how company-specific news impacts equities and the broader markets.Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.Ability to digest and analyze information quickly.Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or related concentration or equivalent years of experience.The budgeted amount range for this position in the state of Connecticut is $70,000-$100,000.
