Kelly Services is actively seeking a Vendor Representative for a long term (5+ year) engagement with one of our top clients located in the Norton Shores / Muskegon area.

Pay rate: $19/hour + Benefits + PTO

Hybrid work schedule: Three days in office, two days remote.

Responsibilities The Pit Stop Vendor Representative is responsible for managing communication with suppliers regarding parts under repair, coordinating repair orders, and updating client inventory management system. This role requires close collaboration with inventory, core, and vendor management teams to ensure alignment with customer and program requirements, along with regular reporting.

Other duties including but not limited to the following:

• Maintain daily communication with suppliers on all parts under repair.

• Provide estimated ship dates and timely disposition updates for repaired parts.

• Create repair orders and manage the approval of repair quotes.

• Update client inventory management system with repair dispositions and ensure all information is accurately recorded.

• Work closely with inventory/core and vendor management teams to ensure complete awareness of customer and program requirements.

• Coordinate efforts to address any discrepancies and align with overall departmental goals.

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on supplier communication, repair order status, and other relevant metrics.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on report findings to enhance repair coordination processes.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

• Must be highly organized and able to work independently.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• High level Excel skills required, must be able to manipulate data and perform report out services.

• HS Diploma required, BS degree is preferred.

• SAP experience strongly preferred.

• Promote industrial hygiene and exercise safety precautions.

• Report incidents and damages to management whether injuries are involved or not.

• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.

• Be a safety role-model to all employees.

• Make suggestions to improve safety at the workplace.

• Actively participate in department safety committee, if required.
