Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative within the construction/contractor industry, based in Norton, Ohio. This role is crucial in managing customer-specific requests related to the inspection and service. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that involves interacting with customers, scheduling services, maintaining profitable margins, and cross-training in various job functions.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage customer-specific requests mainly focusing on inspection and service.

• Schedule service and inspections for customer sites on demand.

• Conduct follow-ups on outstanding work orders to ensure timely completion.

• Maintain profitable margins on work orders by managing costs effectively.

• Be the primary customer service contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution.

• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and negotiate rates as needed.

• Provide phone coverage for assigned accounts as well as overflow.

• Cross-train in various job functions within the company to ensure operational flexibility.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to manage tasks and maintain records.

• Maintain high standards of customer service and demonstrate the ability to learn new systems and processes.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Software.

• Experience in Account Management.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Proficient in Order Entry.

• Excellent at Client Relations.

• Skilled in Documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the construction/contractor industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Experience in account management, including building and maintaining client relationships

• Ability to handle order entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Strong communication skills to manage client relations effectively

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills to maintain accurate records

• Ability to handle customer issues, inquiries, and complaints professionally and efficiently

• Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently

• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in related fields are a plus

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures or processes in a dynamic work environment
