Credit Controller – Northwich

What would you do as our Credit Controller ?
As our Credit Controller you will be responsible for the management of debts for New Products and Service as well as ensuring cash collection is in line with the contracted terms. This exciting opportunity will allow you to showcase your interpersonal skills by establishing and maintaining good relationships, both internally and externally at all levels to help deliver a great service.
You would also:
Ensure aged debt is reduced quickly and pro-actively
Help optimise cash-flow routines.
Ensure Invoicing and statements are issued in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Management Accountant and the wider Finance department by supporting and covering each other’s roles as required.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
Has the ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
Is calm and confident at handling potentially uncomfortable conversations
Has an outstanding communication skills, including ability to communicate issues or solutions when identified
Can resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
Is competent in Microsoft Office products, Word and XL and accounting software with the ability to utilise Finance systems (Exact) accurately and efficiently
