Adecco US, Inc. Senior Accountant in Northvale, New Jersey

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team in Northvale, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial records and reports of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare yearly budgets and monthly and full-year forecasts.

  • Prepare monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements and compare them against the budget for the current year.

  • Manage accounts payable (A/P) aging and accounts receivable (A/R).

  • Analyze weekly payroll by factory and warehouse functions.

  • Prepare a summary of weekly and monthly inventory reports, including raw material, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods.

  • Maintain and prepare factory production reports, graphs, trends, and reason codes for downtime.

  • Create a production schedule for the next two weeks by production station, item, and customer/purchase order.

  • Develop daily and weekly dashboards.

  • Monitor liquidity by managing cash flow.

  • Track productivity through key performance metrics in manufacturing, production, and assembly.

  • Analyze labor cost of sales (COS) as a percentage of sales.

  • Work with the order processing/sales system to prepare bills of materials (BOMs), raw material (RM) reorder alerts, RM ordering minimum order quantities (MOQs), and reorder triggers, margin reports on all open orders, physical inventory schedules, and demand planning capabilities.

  • Track raw material purchases by individual raw material.

  • Implement raw material ordering follow-up procedures, including purchase order date, follow-up with suppliers, expected receipt date, and follow-up with suppliers prior to ship date.

  • Perform other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per week
