The Family Practitioner provides initial medical evaluation for consumers without current linkage to primary care physician. Prescribes medications where clinically indicated. Monitors for adverse side effects of medications.
Legacy Treatment Services' Integrated Care Clinic will serve residents of Atlantic County, New Jersey. The project will provide outpatient mental health and substance use counseling, person-centered treatment planning, case management services, peer support services, outpatient primary care screening and monitoring services, services for veterans, and crisis services.
Hours:
Part time, flexible
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must either be licensed as a doctor in the state of New Jersey or as an Advanced Practice Nurse. If Advanced Practice Nurse, must have previous experience working with the psychiatric population. Must be able to prescribe controlled substances.
