Actalent Mechanical Designer in Northfield, Minnesota

Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob Description

Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Designer where you will have the opportunity to work on multiple drawings and collaborate closely with engineers. Your main responsibilities will include working with top-level drawings to create manufacturing drawings, designing sheet metal parts, and engaging in welding projects. You will focus on 3D modeling, managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and developing bills of materials. Additionally, you will support the New Product Introduction (NPI) group by creating drawing packs for the Applications Engineer and serve as a backup for quoting and order release processes. Your expertise will also contribute to sizing silencers using Driveworks and maintaining workflow in our PDM and ERP systems.
