Our Storeroom Coordinator manages the maintenance parts storeroom and supports procurement, tracking, receipt and inventory of equipment and parts related to capital projects, maintenance, and general facility needs. This is a hands-on position requiring some technical knowledge of operating systems, parts, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Management of the storeroom, overseeing supplies and ensuring quality of supplier services (through cycle counts)
At the direction of management, initiate procurement of parts, confirm receiving, and maintain invoice tracking for materials used in maintenance, operations, or engineering projects (JD Edwards/E-1)
Coordinate vendor communications when necessary for supplier onboarding process as well as communication needs for procurement life cycle
Participate as needed in the bidding process for equipment and supplies
Support the site in monitoring vendor contracts
Follow all purchasing procedures for the site in accordance with company policies
Responsible for ensuring and verifying documentation of storeroom materials and supplies meet quality assurance requirements
Aid the team in part acquisition by scheduling, requesting pickups, or picking up materials using company resources

RequiredEducation and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two-year technical degree or certification in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, machine shop, and/or electrical controls is a plus
4+ years of increasing responsibility in a warehouse or storeroom inventory management position
Experience with JD Edwards (E-1) or equivalent ERP system
Experience with Fiix or equivalent inventory management system
Similar or related experience working in a vitamin, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical environment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent computer skills
E xperience with Fiix CMMS software, or equivalent
Maintain, analyze, evaluate, and account for storeroom inventory
Knowledge of procurement processes
Maintain a variety of records and files
Work under time constraints
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Comply with standard company and site-specific safety rules and practices
Environmental and/or PhysicalRequirements
Frequent office work
Seldom temperature changes, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), squatting, climbing, standing, bending, walking, & operating heavy equipment
Rare operating mobile equipment
