Edwards Lifesciences Administrative Assistant (6 months contractor role) in North Ryde, Australia

By joining this team, you’ll support our leadership with their daily needs so they can seamlessly make decisions that impact the patients we serve. Whether you are coordinating key meetings and events, supporting with the onboarding of new team members, or ensuring the teams you support have what they need to be successful, your work will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative activities including screening and directing phone calls, filing as well as composing and typing general correspondence under limited supervision.

  • Manage schedule and calendar of management with attention to accuracy and detail; plan and execute meetings and events according to request; schedule domestic and international travel in compliance with existing policies and procedures.

  • Liaise via telephone and in person, establishing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers relevant to events such as hotels, restaurants, event agencies, entertainment providers and other participating parties.

  • Assistance to various administrative tasks including: travel arrangements i.e. flight, car rental, accommodation bookings; processing and preparation of travel expenses; tailoring/finalising business presentations; prepare meeting minutes.

  • Ad-hoc project by country’s needs.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field,

  • 4 years working experience and multinational company experience

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to build partnership internally and externally.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills at all levels.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented with high level of energy.

  • Strong expertise in MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytic skills

  • Demonstrates attention to detail and able to work to deadlines

  • Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies and procedures

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Ability to prioritize competing objectives in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
