About the Team
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for maintaining safety, environmental and security compliance throughout the facility through program development, training, auditing and driving continuous improvement. A key to success for this role is strong EHS skills, involved presence within the facility, and a strong level of knowledge and experience with Microsoft systems.
What you can look forward to as the EHS Specialist:
Compile data for OSHA compliance
Manage Workers Compensation related issues
Develop training programs as required
Provide Safety/Environmental communications
Serve as a representative for Corporate/Global Safety and Health activities
Assist with implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Your Profile as the EHS Specialist:
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Science or Technical Field preferred. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Proven knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
Excellent communication skills
The ability to facilitate meetings and trainings
Intermediate experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite
