Kelly Engineering is currently recruiting for a (Contract to Hire with Benefits!) (Maintenance Technician) job located in Richmond, VA .

Responsibilities: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, as well as the physical structure of an industrial facility.

• 2+ years in one or more fields of the following; Industrial Electrical/Electronics or Industrial Mechanical/Machinist.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment.

• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, electrical and electronic components of automated machinery.

• Monitoring water flows from production to the powerhouse and making required process control changes to provide optimum operation of the wastewater treatment facility, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations and company policy.

• Demonstrates knowledge in the operation of dissolved oxygen meters, pH meters and chlorine analyzers.

• Troubleshooting skills in the areas of pumps, valves, and various wastewater treatment equipment

• Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases.

• Use the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.

• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.

• An individual is expected to constantly observe and inspect our machinery and facility and to make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures, to ensure proper safety, increase productivity and general effectiveness within our organization. To this end they will work closely with supervision and management and demonstrate the ability to be a team leader.

• The technician is required to be a self-starter and to be able to work with or without supervision.

• Maintain work area in clean, safe, and orderly manner.
