Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Manufacturing Manager (General Manufacturing) (Level K) (Variable Shift) to support the 787 Program based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate One BPS culture, tools and key performance indicators. Position Responsibilities :

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.

• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our Boeing South Caroline (BSC) site.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

• 3+ years of experience in and/or supporting aerospace manufacturing

• 1+ years of experience leading and influencing managers or non-managers to meet organizational goals

• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives, collaborating cross functionally and influencing positive change

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience leading lean processes and initiatives on the 787 Program

• 5+ years of proven strategic leadership teammate engagement

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range : $108,000 - $125,000
