Aerotek Maintenance Technician in North Charleston, South Carolina
Job Title: Maintenance Technician - (Day Shift) - $28-$32/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled maintenance on shop equipment, troubleshoot and repair machines, and assist with the installation of new tooling and machinery. The ideal candidate will have +4 years of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to work independently or with supplier technicians. Knowledge of scheduled maintenance programs and troubleshooting various systems is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance on all shop equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair machines, and report findings.
Assist with the installation of new tools and equipment.
Maintain welding machines, CNC lasers, CNC lathes, drill presses, press machines, plasma cutters, and grinders.
Perform facilities maintenance and upkeep.
Essential Skills
+4 years of maintenance experience.
Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics, mechanical maintenance.
Electrical maintenance.
Hydraulics and pneumatics.
Low voltage and high voltage systems.
Minor PLC troubleshooting.
Motors and bearings.
Gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
Fabrication and welding.
Work Environment/Shift
This position is based in a fabrication shop environment that is non-climate controlled. This position is day shift, Monday through Friday!

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
