Our reputable client is seeking a Property Accountant to join the company. The ideal Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. Your responsibilities

· Manages the monthly closing process and establishes guidelines for business activity reports.

· Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and related reports for business units.

· Maintains Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.

· Maintains the general ledger and prepares required journal entries.

· Reconciles bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits, and transaction activity.

· Presents recommendations to management on short and long-term objectives and policies.

· Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform tax reporting/preparation.

· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

• Multi-Location or Multi-Entity Accounting preferred

• Sound understanding of industry specific accounting software

• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills

• Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
