Stark State College Project Director, Northeast Ohio Workforce Initiative in Nursing Grant in North Canton, Ohio

This position focuses on the overall responsibility for managing the scope of work for the Northeast Ohio Workforce Initiative in Nursing grant. This grant will focus on helping future Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses obtain quality jobs and advance their careers, particularly targeting under-served communities and addressing healthcare worker shortages in Northeast Ohio. This position involves leading the project team, including the Healthcare Career Specialist, monitoring progress, coordinating with project partners, and ensuring that all activities align with the project vision and objectives. Typical Responsibilities Include: Planning, executing and monitoring all aspects of the grant project, ensuring timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.Developing detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.Leading and supervising the project team, including the Healthcare Career Specialist, providing guidance, setting performance expectations, and ensuring team members have the resources they need to succeed.Communicating and coordinating with project partners, such as hospital employers, educational institutions, and community organizations. Facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.Ensuring compliance with grant requirements and regulations. Preparing and submitting required reports to the Department of Labor and other stakeholders. Maintaining accurate project documentation.Identifying potential risks to the project and developing mitigation strategies. Addressing any issues that arise during the course of the project. To Be Considered You Need: A Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration OR a Master's degree in Business AdministrationTo be a Registered Nurse with a current, active, unrestricted license in the state of OhioA minimum of three years of successful program management experienceProven experience in successful grant management Click here to view the full job description details.
