Job Description

Are you driven by troubleshooting and passionate about using your technical expertise to get to the root of problems? Do you have a high focus on quality and customer satisfaction?

If so, you might be the Quality Engineer we are looking for to join the Quality team at Danfoss Burner Components in Nordborg.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in continuously improving our processes and core services. You will have the opportunity to leverage your technical knowledge and analytical skills to handle internal quality tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Your main tasks will be supporting production in daily operations and collaborating with our PT Engineer and Maintenance team to ensure production quality. You will play a key role in the ongoing development of quality assurance. You will identify potential challenges and conduct thorough analyses to uncover the root causes of issues.

Working closely with colleagues across departments, you will ensure prompt problem resolution and long-term prevention. You will gain a deep understanding of our products and processes and take the lead on implementing 8D methodologies.

Furthermore, you can look forward to:

  • Focusing on reducing internal rejections and quality costs.

  • Leading problem-solving efforts for complex quality issues.

  • Addressing urgent production issues through containment, correction, and prevention, employing systematic problem-solving methods to identify the core problem.

  • Establishing and maintaining quality control points at the factory, ensuring adherence to the control plan.

Additionally, you will actively participate in Continuous Improvement Processes to support the implementation of projects aligned with the quality plan, with the aim of optimizing and improving our products.

Background & Skills

We expect that you have a relevant technical education or an engineering background. You should have prior experience as a Quality Engineer and be familiar with production and quality processes.

You can demonstrate knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and are familiar with the use of ISO/IATF quality tools such as 8D, RCPS, control plans, FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc., and auditing.

Moreover, you should be proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English and have good skills in Microsoft Office and SAP.

As a person you have a structured and qualitative approach to solving key problems, you are naturally result- and goal-oriented and able to communicate at all levels.

You are independent, capable of maintaining an overview, and handling various tasks simultaneously without losing focus. Additionally, you are a good collaborator, inspiring others to engage in teamwork and collaboration with your positive approach.
