Job Description Summary
As a member of the Steam turbine Mechanical Integrity team, you will be an active contributor to the strength and dynamic analysis of steam turbine components for upgrade projects.
Job Description
Your Role/Responsibilities
Performing strength/dynamic analyses of steam turbine components
Performing steam turbine rotordynamic analyses
Preparing calculation reports with strength and dynamic calculation results
Work closely with design team and provide design solutions based on strength/dynamic analysis results
Preparing presentation materials and participation in Design Reviews
Creating and presenting technical presentation for company customers
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Basic understanding of Steam turbine design.
Understanding of fundamentals of mechanical design including material properties, statics, strength of materials, lifing methods related to fatigue (LCF & HCF) and creep.
Basic knowledge of strength and dynamic analyses of turbomachinery elements
Basic knowledge of rotordynamic analyses of turbomachinery
Knowledge of Ansys and finite element analysis
Desired Characteristics
Strong interpersonal skills and responsive skills
Experience in strength analyses of turbomachinery elements
Experience in dynamic analyses of turbomachinery rotating elements
Experience in rotordynamic analyses of turbomachinery
