Schedule: Days but will be asked to work OT or other shifts if necessary
Pay Rate: $28 - $36 DOE, depending on experience, (10% Night Differential)
Location: AZ, OR, and NM
Travel: Local Candidates Only

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
The FSE/FST will perform tasks involving Gas and Chemical Systems including but not limited to:
Troubleshooting start-up or change-out issues
Change out mechanical or electrical components
System upgrades
Installation of equipment
Start-up and commission systems including gas cabinets, VMBs, chemical cabinets, sample stations, etc.
De-install equipment or demo facility lines from equipment to VMBs
Corrective Maintenance
Scheduled Preventative Maintenance support as needed supporting another internal team.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical and electrical skills and understanding
Strong communication soft skills for reporting and updating team members
Able to work within a team group and also perform individual tasks once trained with little supervision.
2+ years’ experience working with relative equipment that is involved with gas or chemicals.
May walk over 5 miles per day throughout the site and occasionally work longer hours (OT) depending on the task.
In some cases, Technicians must put on a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator (this type of respirator provides air from a cylinder through a mask connected to the cylinder) while working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes
Basic lifting (up to 40lbs), and using hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Bending of the knees and overhead reaching. Working from height if needed on ladders or lifts with fall protection.
PPE required for specific sites will be available to workers including safety glasses, hard hats, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
