Job Description
This role blends electrical estimating, engineering, design, and problem-solving in both office and field environments. Responsibilities
Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including material, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
Utilize estimating software to streamline estimates and bids.
Work closely with project managers, field teams, and customers to refine project scopes and budgets.
Analyze blueprints, specs, and site conditions to provide competitive and realistic bids.
Design and develop electrical systems for industrial and commercial projects.
Perform load calculations, circuit designs, and system layouts to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Assist in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and value engineering efforts on active projects.
Optimize electrical designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and field installation feasibility.
Ensure compliance with NEC codes and industry standards in all designs and engineering solutions.
Visit job sites to assess project needs and challenges.
Work directly with customers, vendors, and field electricians to ensure seamless execution of engineered and designed solutions.
Assist with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting when needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience).
PE license is a plus but not required.
3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, engineering, or system design.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, system design, and construction methods.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr.
