Be Caring Support Worker - Learning Disabilities in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit Support Workers to join our learning disabilities team across Newcastle and Gateshead. As a Support Worker you will support people to live happy and fulfilled lives within their local communities.

Ensuring individual support needs are met through person-centred tailored support that promotes choice, independence and their voice.

Pay: £11.50 p/hr (non-complex rate) - £12.00 p/hr (complex rate)

Mileage: 45p per mile (drivers) / 20p per mile (cyclists)

Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher.

We have various Support Worker roles available:

  • Independent Supported Living services – Newcastle & Gateshead

  • Outreach services across Newcastle and Gateshead

Training

  • Paid induction training: classroom-based, includes shadowing and additional online modules.

  • Additional Specialist Training: provided to all new recruits - equipping you to meet the needs of the people we support and enabling you to provide person-centred approach. Training delivered by our amazing team; Debs, Steve, David.

  • Training development: funded Level 3 and other accredited courses.
