Senior Platform Engineer, The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ: Designs and develops flexible and scalable technical solutions on specific platform(s) for foundational business capabilities and services. Designs and develops complex ETL mappings by making use of transformations like Source Qualifier, Joiner, Connected and Unconnected Lookup, Expression, Router, Filter, and Aggregator. Designs and develops UNIX shell scripting and PYTHON in support of operational controls and automation. Designs and develops database solution, data models, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views as per complex business requirements. Develops and maintains Autosys job streams to support batch and on demand data loads. Partners closely with Business Analysts and QA testing team throughout development lifecycle to review and clarify business requirements, review test plans, attend project status meetings with all stakeholders. Work off hours and weekend supporting surrounding production and high visibility issues on demand basis to support portfolio managers. Coordinate all the development activities related to offshore development team, including requirement walk-thru, code reviews, migration of codes to higher environment, and mentoring offshore and junior developers.Telecommuting permitted 100%. Candidates may reside/work anywhere in the U.S.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related work experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and 3 years of related work experience will be accepted.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:• Informatica PowerCenter ETL;• DB2 LUW database; and• Linux Shell Scripting.Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:• Utilizing Python;• Designing and developing complex job processing steps via job scheduling tool: AutoSys to apply timing and processing dependencies against complex processing requirements; and• Coordinating, planning and supporting migration of code database objects.To Apply: Apply online at "https://bit.ly/4cgZ4zE".
