Adecco US, Inc. Patient Greeter (bilingual) in Newark, New Jersey

A Patient Greeter (bilingual) role in Newark, NJ is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. Note, that the service provided is patient centered. You will be actively contributing to a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment for customers. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors while providing friendly and prompt assistance when directing them to their destination as appropriate. Register visitors for visitation and/or same day procedures. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. This is a long-term temp/contract position starting in June 2024. The hourly pay range for this position is $ 17.60/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·Communicates clearly to ensure understanding.

· Responds to complaints and concerns by resolving issues immediately whenever possible.

· Organizes work process to accommodate customer needs, including internal customers and co-workers.

· Meets or exceeds customer expectations for service.

· Acts as a role model for Service Excellence.

· Maintains professional composure in the workplace.

· Works effectively with team to ensure customer service scores for work area meet/exceed targets.

· Demonstrates respect for patient rights.

· Follows customer service expectations related to in-person and over-the-phone customer interactions to provide superior customer service at all times.

· Serves as a role model of exceptional customer service behaviors and maintains a calm and knowledgeable demeanor even in stressful situations.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2-4 years' experience working as a Patient Services Representative in the medical field.

· Strong preference for someone that can speak Spanish.

· Proficient in the use of the visitor management system, adhering to protocols to ensure the safety and security of hospital patients and guests. Immediately refers any issues to lead or management staff as needed.

· Courteously and professionally greet and provide assistance and direction to patients, families, visitors, physicians and staff and vendors.

· Able to maintain a welcoming demeanor with each customer through the demonstration of a supportive, helpful, and responsive attitude.

Pay Details: $17.60 per hour
