ABOUT THIS ROLE

Based in Newark, NJ, this is Audible’s first Global Head of Creative. In this role, you will lead the creative organization to design, develop and deploy full-funnel creative campaigns at a global scale that inspire and engage listeners across diverse geographies and languages. You will lead a team of leaders and individuals, and work closely with leadership across the company to deliver distinctive creative campaigns.

You are a proven creative leader with deep experience in and a passion for crafting brand-defining work that delivers revenue and audience KPIs, and brand awareness, consideration and love. You have global experience, are digitally fluent and have meaningfully contributed to the growth and positioning of leading brands in their categories. You have strong creative instincts and are comfortable interpreting data and insights to influence and guide your work. You have the ability to balance high volume of work with distinctive, high-quality output. You are an exceptional people leader and manager, with genuine emotional intelligence and low ego, able to work effectively with your own creative team and collaborate with others in various functions and geographies throughout a matrixed organization. You have a curious nature and excel at integrating inspiration from Culture and Technology into your output.

As a Global Head of Creative, you will...

  • Serve as Audible’s first Global Head of Creative for full-funnel marketing creative, in diverse brand/awareness, performance and customer-facing paid, earned and owned media outlets and surfaces, representing Audible subscription and retail services in NA, EU, APAC and LatAm

  • Lead development and deployment of B2B and B2C campaigns and experiences for full-funnel paid media advertising, content marketing launches, product/feature releases, audience communications, and brand campaigns and activations

  • Build, lead, manage and motivate an in-house global team of multi-media art directors, graphic designers and copywriters to deliver exceptional, brand-defining creative output that achieves marketing goals while driving Audible’s KPIs

  • Integrate technology advancements into marketing creative, improving output quality, workflow and efficiency

  • Build and oversee the creative operations function spanning production, automation, delivery, transcreation/localization, budget management, etc

  • Serve as the primary creative point of contact and voice to key external agencies, including paid media agency and in-house resources from media companies

  • Oversee the development and consistent usage of Audible’s visual, auditory and tone of voice brand guidelines, and their application to different mediums and surfaces

  • Partner closely with Audible’s Head of UX Design to ensure the translation of brand elements are effectively integrated into the product experience for new and future expressions

  • Streamline Audible’s current roster of creative agencies as a key part of a cross-functional team

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of creative leadership experience including working with consumer-facing brands, digital brands and in-house/client-side experience

  • Experience building, developing and scaling high-performance creative teams in a leader of leaders’ capacity

  • Experience with full-funnel creative work across multiple formats and mediums

  • Demonstrated experience working across functions and countries in a matrixed environment

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing other leaders and creating communication strategies that engage and impact internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency-side creative leadership in addition to client experience

  • Foreign language fluency

  • Global experience, including in the US and non-English language countries

  • A mix of global and local responsibility and experience in entertainment and media global brands

  • Experience in global consumer digital brands with subscription business models

  • Experience balancing a high volume of work with distinctive, high-quality output
