Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. This role primarily involves managing financial records, processing payroll, handling accounts receivable and payable, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Receivable and serve as backup support for Accounts Payable

• Process Payroll for employees using QuickBooks

• Manage customer payments, tracking, aging reports, and collections activities

• Process payments for customers and manage their accounts, ensuring all bills and credits are accurately recorded

• Manage team commissions and ensure accurate calculation and distribution

• Support the office with daily operations, including reporting, scheduling, inventory management, and coordinating with vendors for product delivery and pick-up

• Maintain and manage documentation for permits

• Comfortably work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• A strong background in Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close tasks

• Knowledge of Payroll procedures and systems

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
