We are on the hunt for a diligent Desktop Support Analyst, based in Newark, Delaware. This role is crucial to our operations as you'll be the first point of contact for end-users encountering issues with their desktop computers. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to provide efficient responses and solutions to technical issues. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

100% ONSITE IN NEWARK, DELAWARE

Responsibilities:

• Carry out on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of basic to intermediate desktop problems for end-users, suggesting and implementing corrective solutions.

• Shoulder the responsibility of off-site repair for remote users as needed.

• Handle the lifting of equipment weighing between 11-25 lbs when necessary.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and implement corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines. Escalate to other technical resources when needed.

• Build, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot desktop computer systems.

• Create and review support tickets to move, change, install, report, or remove computers, printers, monitors or data communications equipment such as modems, cables, and wires.

• Collaborate with LAN technicians/network admins to ensure the efficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment.

• Create, follow up, and close helpdesk support tickets.

• Provide efficient and prompt customer service support.

• Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software support issues with wireless access and desk and/or mobile phones.

• Assist staff with proper inventory of all office IT equipment and software licenses.

• Monitor industry websites or publications for information about patches, releases, viruses, or potential problem identification.

Requirements

100% ONSITE IN NEWARK, DELAWARE

• Candidate should possess knowledge and experience in Basic Troubleshooting

• Experience with Desktop Hardware is a necessity for this role

• Applicants must have skills in Hardware Troubleshooting

• Candidates must have the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Strong communication skills are required to communicate technical issues in a non-technical manner

• Applicants should have the ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Experience in a similar Desktop Support Analyst role is preferred

• Candidates must have the ability to document procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance

• Applicants should have a strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to maintain efficiency

• Candidates should be familiar with remote desktop applications and help desk software

• Strong problem-solving skills are a necessity for this role.
