Honeywell Regional Sales Manager, Supra/Onity Products in New York

As Regional Sales Manager for Supra/Onity Products here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving sales and revenue growth for our Supra/Onity products in the Northeast US region. You will be accountable for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

You will report directly to our Sales Manager and you'll be based in territory (NY, NJ, CT, PA, OH) working remotely.

This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned sales quotas by prospecting existing and upcoming facilities to close new Supra/Onity business. The Regional Sales Manager will respond to inbound leads, deliver product demonstrations, provide product selection assistance and system design, generate quotes, process orders, write proposals and job bids, and work trade shows. As a member of this team, you will work in a dynamic environment that provides a high-level of exposure and influence for the leading-edge technology of Supra/Onity products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, engage and qualify existing and new opportunities from a geographical list you will help develop and close new business opportunities

  • Handle multiple projects well, balancing the needs of customers with the capabilities of inside project coordination needs to offer the best solution for their needs in a timely fashion

  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously because of excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

  • Understand that internal and external collaboration drives improvement and best practices

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience and verifiable success in high activity outside sales for a major industrial, electronics, networking or consumer products firm

  • Discipline to work from home and/or field with little supervision

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Highly organized yet flexible/adaptive skillset – able to juggle multiple balls at once without a single drop

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with emphasis in Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in selling security or hospitality products highly preferred

  • Knowledge of the Northeast US hospitality market and customer base desirable

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
