Paramount Vulnerability Analyst, Information Security Intern (Summer 2025 - New York City - Hybrid) in New York, New York

The Vulnerability Management (VM) team is part of the broader Paramount Information Security organization. The VM team works with technical groups across the entire enterprise to ensure that information security vulnerabilities are identified on all Paramount Global systems and remediated to mitigate risks. We accomplish this through configuration of our vulnerability management tools, vulnerability scanning, analysis, and prioritization activities with both internal and external partners.

Approximately 40% of the intern's work includes reviewing the vulnerability scan results, under the guidance of VM team members, to prioritize remediation activities

Approximately 40% of the intern's work includes utilizing vulnerability management tools to detect and ensure timely remediation of critical vulnerabilities across numerous Paramount Global tech teams

Approximately 20% of the intern's work will include analyzing, gathering and generating vulnerability metrics and dashboards on a regular basis

Additional Qualifications:

Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related technology major preferred

Knowledge and interest in Information Security, including Vulnerability Management, threat intelligence, or related fields

Analytical skills to evaluate and transform data using Excel, Power BI, ETL tools, programming or scripting languages

Self-starter with ability to work individually as well as in a team environment with geographically distributed team members

Superb attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Eligibility:

  • This internship is open to under grad Sophomore or Juniors, and Master's students who are returning to school in the fall of 2025. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities closer to your graduation date.

  • You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.

  • Interns will be required to work hybrid or fully on-site for the duration of the program.

  • Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).

  • Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as thecompany does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

The hourly rate for this position is $38.0 - 43.0.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
