Citigroup VP, Program Manager - PBWM Marketing Resource Management Platform and Invoice Governance Program Manager (Hybrid) in New York, New York

The Marketing Investment Performance and Optimization team manages the $1.6Bn US Consumer Marketing expense and contra revenue budget through a quarterly optimization process, monthly marketing expense forecasting process, and monthly Contra Revenue forecast.

This is a Program Manager position within the Marketing Resource Management (MRM) & Invoice Governance Team. This position will be accountable for managing the MRM platform and Invoice Governance activities for US Consumer Banking (USPB & Wealth).

Responsibilities will include reengineering processes, providing user support and end to end management of system enhancements.

Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Involved in short to medium-term planning of actions.

Responsibilities:

MRM Platform Management

  • Manage the USPB & Wealth Marketing Resource Management Platform used to manage expenses and budgets and provide many critical financial reports.

  • Coordinates with multiple internal cross functional teams including IT to implement critical business enhancements and upgrades to the application

  • Create Business Requirements, User Test Scripts, Perform UAT and Production Validation

  • Provides regular training and support on all application related processing activities.

  • Provide daily user support to 700 users of the application

  • Manage all MRM related production issues to resolution including root cause analysis and implementing process and system efficiencies.

  • Manage end to end reengineering activities to streamline processes. This includes identifying and engaging with stakeholders, determining and defining scope and requirements, and developing a project plan to ensure these changes are implemented and rolled out successfully.

  • Manage the expansion of the MRM Platform and related processes to additional users and business areas

  • Escalates issues and risks to management when appropriate.

Invoice Governance

  • Ensure accruals are managed, monitored and closed in a timely and effective manner by working closely with cross functional teams to ensure invoices and forecasts are aligned and booked appropriately.

  • Resolve all invoice/forecast related user and vendor questions.

  • Identify and help resolve systems issues.

  • Manage the processing of vendors invoices and vendor maintenance processes.

  • Provide training to users on invoice and accrual related processes.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience with emphasis on financial analysis

  • Presentation skills with preference for individuals with PPT experience

  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Innate sense of urgency/curiosity

  • Reengineering or Finance background preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
