Vice President, Broker II for Financial Services Group (FSG) for Private & Non-Profit

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; or Boston, MA office.

What the day will look like:
Assess client needs, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers so as to obtain coverage that is in a client’s best interests.
Develops and manage client relationships, account strategies and insurance marketing activities for book of business. Act as the primary negotiator in obtaining the most effective insurance programs to address client needs.
Work closely with Team Leaders, Producers, Account Executives, and other client facing team members to understand and deliver on clients’ needs.
Identify and analyze client exposures with routine assistance of junior team members to develop effective client risk treatment and placement strategies.
Obtain the most appropriate program coverage based upon client objectives by developing and executing, in conjunction with the client, an agreed upon structure and strategy.
Serve as a source for information concerning market trends, pricing practices and other underwriting policies. Participate in development of team policies and procedures and implements them in assigned area.
Provide guidance to more junior colleagues
Direct the overall development and growth of assigned book of business and assist in the development of the colleagues.
Work on complex and mid-sized accounts with autonomy.
Provide expert comparison and analysis of insurance policies and determination of needed enhancements.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum of five years of negotiating private and nonprofit management liability insurance placements, including: Directors and Officers (D&O), Employment Practices (EPL), Fiduciary, Commercial Crime and Special Crime (K&R).
Proven attention to detail, ability to multi-task, exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Established insurer relations in the private, non-profit executive liability industry with a high-level understanding of products, including liability, risk transfer and indemnification concepts.
Current insurance licensure or ability to quickly acquire an insurance producer's license in all applicable states.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,000 - $185,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
