Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a User Experience (UX) Designer in the financial services industry, located in New York, New York, 10007-2277, United States. The role involves developing and delivering exceptional interaction and visual designs for our customers using a human-centered design methodology. The successful candidate will work with multiple team members and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into designs that enhance the overall end-user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver interactive user experiences and interfaces across multiple products and platforms

• Work with data visualization and presentation for data-driven products supporting financial models and data insights

• Simplify and unify complex information into intuitive interactions, flows, charts, graphs, and other forms of visual representation

• Generate workflows, user journeys, and create wireframes and high-fidelity designs in a customer-centered design approach

• Collaborate directly with developers to turn wireframes and other visualizations into production-ready prototypes based on our established components and patterns in our design language

• Ensure adherence to standards through reviews of developed pages

• Facilitate feedback reviews of prototypes to validate design concepts with end users

• Occasionally run and facilitate workshops with stakeholders and customers

• Understand analytics and present complex data, designing dashboards, data visualization, and interactive solutions to assess, analyze, manipulate, and present data in user-friendly formats

• Work in a multidisciplinary environment, often with numerous design initiatives occurring concurrently

• Possess extensive knowledge with Agile software methodologies and comfortable utilizing one or more recognized Agile methodologies or toolsets

• Be comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and passionate for challenges, and work independently and as part of a team

• Have working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe Creative Cloud, and create UX design work using Axure RP or Figma. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in the Financial Services industry

• Proficiency in User Experience (UX) Design

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Strong analytical abilities

• Adept at Design and Production in a digital environment

• Knowledge of Insurance procedures and policies

• Capability to deliver effective Presentations

• Experience in Workstation Support

• Willingness to Travel as needed

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS programming languages

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology

• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Stakeholders

• Experience in creating Charts and Graphs

• Knowledge of Component Selection in design

• Understanding of Design Concepts relevant to the Financial Services industry

• Familiarity with different Methodologies used in UX design

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud

• Experience in Financial Modeling

• Proficiency in JIRA

• Ability to Create Dashboards
