Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager role based in New York, New York, 10036, United States. This role is primarily focused on managing office operations and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. As an Office Manager, you will be expected to use your skills and expertise to ensure the smooth running of the office functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure they are carried out efficiently.

• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

• Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment.

• Ensure that office procedures align with company policies and can be implemented effectively.

• Manage office layout planning and office moves, and manage and maintain IT infrastructure.

• Liaise with global offices to ensure consistency in office procedures and policies.

• Organize company events and conferences.

• Implement measures to provide motivation for employees.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in an office management role.

• Proficiency in using GASB (Government Accounting Standards Board) principles.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex, multifaceted tasks.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Experience in managing office budgets and expenses.

• Knowledge of office policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred.

• Ability to manage office staff, including delegation of tasks.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
