NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships Innovation team is looking for a motivated and dynamic Innovation Specialist who will support shaping the future of advertising in streaming and digital video content. 

This individual will support key team initiatives and managing team processes and operations for crafting marketplace storytelling and product adoption with both internal and external stakeholders. 

The role will report to the Innovation Manager and requires creative problem solvers with an enthusiasm for the streaming video space.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development and maintenance of internal/external product marketing and training materials (one-sheets, product applications, quarterly read-outs/guidance, etc.) 

  • Help track and document marketplace sales activity, feedback, and product requests from Sales, Marketing, Planning, and other departmental stakeholders 

  • Memorialize changes to business processes, existing product activation guidelines, or new product requests and requirements  

  • Partner with Product strategy on direct and indirect competitive ad offerings to inform marketplace positioning and comparative narratives 

  • Manage agendas and memorialization of meetings with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners including accurate capturing of key decisions and next steps 

  • Attend regular workstream meetings and perform other duties as assigned that help the team deliver on its goals  

Qualifications and Desired Characteristics:

  • 2-4 years of experience in advertising, advertising technology, or media 

  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet search engines 

  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively with Ad Sales and Product stakeholders at various level of seniority 

  • Proactive attitude with flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, small-team environment following directions from various members of the team 

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to multi-task effectively and exceptional attention to detail 

  • Strong sense of curiosity in the rapidly changing ad tech landscape  

  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, marketers, and other cross-functional teams 

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills - able to cultivate strong working relationships, communicate effectively, and create clarity  

  • Thrives in organizations with high levels of cross-team coordination/dependency

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000
