Adobe Inc. Software Development Engineer in New York, New York
Design, develop, and optimize computer and network software, and Adobe-specific utility programs. Duties include:Key lead in ensuring the reliability and performance of our highly-critical systems. Will spearhead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure, collaborating closely withsoftware engineers to optimize the overall system architecture. Develop and maintain robust automation tools for deployment and configuration, establishing and refining monitoringsolutions, and actively participating in incident response to ensure rapid resolution of issues. Mentor and guide junior SREs, contribute to strategic decision-making, and drive initiatives toenhance the overall resilience of our technology stack. Understand cloud environments, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining system reliabilityat scale. May allow for partial telecommuting. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 48months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development Engineer-related occupation. Position requires 48 months of experience in the following: Amazon Web Services; NewRelic and Grafana; Terraform and Chef; Python, PHP, bash, and Ruby; Jenkins; Splunk; PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch; and NGINX and HAProxy.
