We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Martech team - Responsible for operational and analytic tooling and data enablement for our internal Lifecycle Marketing and Ops team to execute and reach our customers with targeted campaigns. You can expect to own the implementation of the team’s technical vision and empower other engineers on that team.

This role will have a strong focus on collaboration with other squads and teams throughout the company, and you will serve as a representative for our group in cross-departmental projects.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and New York offices two or more days per week.

What you'll bring

• Senior level engineer with extensive experience in software development.

• Strong experience in PHP and React, with hands-on expertise in full stack development and solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles and design.

• Nice to have experience in Python, Cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.

• Experience in querying and transforming data from a database using SQL.

• Knowledge about unit testing and experience with test automation frameworks such as Mabl, TestCafe, or Playwright.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in writing documentation, performing code reviews, and debugging.

• Experience with Agile development process and Scrum methodologies.

How you will lead

• Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, write and maintain scalable and efficient code.

• Provide mentorship for fellow team members and collaborate with Senior/Staff engineers and support on-call schedules.

• Research and propose new approaches to work, tools, and best practies.

• Work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through implementation.

• Ensure quality by performing thorough testing and leveraging peer reviews for your work and the work of others.

• Adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, web accessibility and performance, software testing and design best practices.

• Strong desire to learn and grow with excellent communication and problem solving.

• Can-do attitude with willingness to take ownership of problems and ability to make decisions independently.
