The LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Strategic Planning & Operations team sits in the Integrated Marketing Org as part of the Brand team. Reporting to the Strategic Planning & Operations Lead, this marketer will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy, leading key initiatives, and driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with strong strategic thinking, messaging, communication, and project management skills. The role will partner closely with cross functional stakeholders to develop strategies and create operational models that ensure creative and strategic alignment across LinkedIn Marketing Solutions’ marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing partners to relaunch a global case study program by synthesizing research, developing an insights backed strategy, and assembling a tiger team to address key challenges, define priorities, and create an external hub. This will also require partnering with an external creative agency to develop templates.

  • Communicate complex concepts within functional expertise and storytelling ability to recommend a clear course of action, with clear takeaways and insights.

  • Provide key inputs into LinkedIn Marketing Solutions marketing strategy, messaging and positioning. Partner with the central brand team, marketing operations, and other xfn marketing teams to develop a playbook to provide best-in-class creative and campaign guidance, best practices, and processes for marketing channels (LoL, email, events).

  • Lead internal training program from end to end for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team, develop a strategy and curriculum to upskill the team. Training would include internal topics such as products, campaign and creative best practices and external topics with industry experts.

  • Serve as the internal brand expert and connective tissue for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team, working to share knowledge and ensuring cohesive brand look/feel across the business. Maintain the high level, strategic lens through which all decisions are made, connecting the dots at a high level, while staying hands-on to execute for strong business results.

  • Drive a deep understanding of customers and users and then build data-driven, actionable insights that inform future marketing plans.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in a marketing or advertising or technology related field or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of work experience in marketing or communications related role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for advertising, media, software, tech or B2B Internet products

  • Strong ability to analyze and package qualitative and quantitative data into compelling stories/recommendations that drive decision making

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate data-driven recommendations simply and effectively

  • Demonstrate leadership skills, proven ability to collaborate strongly, develop deep relationships with colleagues and influence functional teams to deliver on goals

  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative to seek information and solve problems in an unstructured environment

  • Excellent attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills; proven ability to deliver high quality work and meet deadlines

  • Ability to build trust quickly, high degree of empathy, and expertise at managing senior, cross-functional relationship

  • Experience working with external agencies for creative development, has a strong eye for creative

  • Willingness to learn and tackle new projects

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $115,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
