Grow your career with an innovative global bank as a Lead Business Intelligence & Automation Analyst with a focus in Lending Transformation. Contract role with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of technical data analysis, business analysis & reporting experience in a large enterprise environment

  • 10+ years of data analysis and remediation experience: reconciliation or slicing dicing data from different data attributes perspective

  • 5-10 years and strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems

  • 4-5 years of recent experience with MI prep for senior management

  • In-depth knowledge of Excel for analysis and reporting.

  • Significant experience working with BI platforms, building data analytics pipelines, designing data models, and creating flexible automation tools using scripting languages (e.g. Python).

  • Experience and proficiency building data pipelines and performing analytics using KNIME (or similar Data transformation software)

  • Must have experience with reporting tools (using PowerBI, Tableau, and/or Alterix). Ability to read the code and understand how these tools work.

  • Strong proficiency with scripting languages for automation & analytics purposes (e.g., Python, R, JavaScript)

  • Proficiency with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Microsoft Office

  • Must have very strong banking/financial services background experience with credit products, derivatives, etc.

  • Experience creating team SharePoint sites and maintaining content to make information and documents easily accessible

  • Significant experience building end-user tools with Microsoft Access

  • Demonstrable experience or certification with technology control frameworks (e.g., CRISC, CISA)

  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact with people in all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to back up findings with clear explanations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Will interact and work closely with multiple areas across the organization as we enhance our processes and technology to better deliver for our clients.

  • Provide data management support to the Transformation team’s initiatives

  • Rapidly prototype solutions across a broad spectrum of technologies

  • Advise senior stakeholders on technology solutions for high-priority regulatory remediation initiatives

  • Develop and maintain automated workflow tools

  • Create and maintain centralized SharePoint site and associated content for overall transformation program

  • Support BAU reporting & analytics processes, including ability to create different MI views at short notice for different stakeholders and to address newly identified issues requiring data analysis

  • Ability to respond rapidly to constantly evolving requirements from management

  • Support transformation and/or risk and control agenda/priorities for the larger team

  • Partners with cross function peers to create, administer, track, and eventually close projects

  • Build tactical solutions in compliance with the overall technology controls environment
