Position Summary:

Yeshiva University High School for Boys is seeking to hire a Rosh Beit Midrash to mentor and guide students and coordinate learning schedules for students during the afternoon.

Position Responsibilities:

An experienced rebbe who will passionately be committed to:

  • Teaching shiur and other Judaic Studies classes.
  • Be present at night seder twice a week, giving chaburahs, serving as a shoel u'meishiv, and providing accountability to the students.
  • Lead an afternoon Beis Midrash Program.
    Organize and run community based programs twice a month.
  • Represent MTA at various events, including admissions events, yemei iyun, and adult education programs.
  • Provide support in other areas, including Israel Guidance, teacher mentorship, recruitment, and fundraising.

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Undergraduate degree and advanced Rabbinical ordination are required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to read, speak and teach in Hebrew
  • Knowledge of Talmudic and Biblical texts

Salary Range:

  • $120,000 - $150,000
