Verition Group LLC seeks Quantitative Analyst in NY, NY to conduct quantitative research and apply mathematical and statistical techniques for predictable patterns in financial asset return, risk and trading cost. Req’s Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics, Mathematics, or related field and 1 year of experience utilizing Python and AWS Redshift for data pipeline, predictive modeling, and optimization of systematic trading strategies; applying Bayesian Inference, Neural Networks, and GARCH modeling for volatility and time series forecasting; and applying stochastic and non-linear optimization techniques to enhance portfolio allocation.
