Position Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Manager. NYU Langone Department of Radiology is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our Radiochemistry Facility.Responsible for advanced range of coordination of projects and studies conducted by the Radiochemistry Program. Serves as main point of contact for Radiochemistry and interfaces with multiple levels and departments at the Medical Center and external collaborators.

This is a unique opportunity to:
1) Gain experience in a cutting-edge field - manufacture radiotracers for PET scans used in clinical and pre-clinical research.
2)Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers from Radiology, Oncology, and Psychiatry at NYULH and beyond.

Job Responsibilities:

This job would entail working with the Radiochemistry Staff at NYULH to schedule tracer productions for patient doses of volunteer research studies. The Laboratory Manager/Administrator would also be involved in the finance and budget process for the Radiochemistry Team. This would include ordering materials, scheduling maintenance of lab equipment, ordering and scheduling clinical doses and DOT transportation. The individual will be involved in review process for cGMP manufacturing, IND, aNDA, IRB protocols, and FDA submissions.

In this role, you will:

    • Scheduleproduction of radiotracers for patient doses in volunteer research studies using i-Lab software.
    • CommunicatewithNYU PET Center Clinic for PET/MR camera time
    • Facilitate communicationbetween the Radiochemistry Team, NYU PET Center Clinic, and external research collaborators.
    • ReviewIRB protocols for research studies utilizing radiotracers.
    • Manage laboratory logistics:
      • Order materials
      • Schedule equipment maintenance
      • Maintain & renew service contracts
    • Participatein research meetings and contribute to the development of new radiotracers.
    • Assistwith billing and managing the Radiochemistry Lab's budget.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a scientific, business, social science. health science, or related field with at least 3 years of post Masters experience. Experience dealing with billing, invoicing, budgeting, P&Ls and administrative processes at an academic institution.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $91,927.50 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
