Description

We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead our effort in designing and delivering innovative solutions that enhance the Amazonian experience. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our employee experience by creating new and impactful solutions that improve workplace productivity and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management and experience delivering enterprise solutions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the company to define product vision. You will make strategic decisions on feature prioritization, solution design, and success metrics while evaluating various approaches. You are driven by data and use customer insights to develop product strategy. You identify opportunities within business domains to utilize emerging technologies and best practices. You write Vision docs, PRFAQs, and 3YP documents to gain leadership buy-in for execution. You manage stakeholders to align everyone on the common goal and deliver your product vision. You drive adoption and quantify business impact. You have a passion for enhancing employee experience through innovative solutions, while rigorously measuring results and continuously iterating.

A day in the life

You will:

• Define and drive the product vision for solutions that can be leveraged across PXT domains

• Influence cross-functional teams to develop impactful products that improve employee experience and productivity

• Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks to drive product decisions

• Partner with internal teams to write detailed business requirements

• Deliver 3YP, Vision, PRFAQs, and BRD docs

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle

• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

• Influence priorities and business strategy through data-driven insights

• Drive product adoption and measure business impact

• Improve products through direct interaction with stakeholders and users

• Stay current with latest trends and developments in workplace solutions

• Mentor and support other team members

The PXT Central Team focuses on developing process improvements and products that enhance both Amazon's operations and the lives, well-being, and value of work of Amazonians. We are a collaborative team that combines diverse talents to develop and deliver solutions that measurably achieve this goal.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
