A postdoctoral research position is available at the Shamsi Lab within the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at New York University. Research in our lab is at the interface of metabolism, cell biology, and development and focuses on understanding the mechanisms of thermogenic adipose tissue development, function, and aging. We combine cutting-edge molecular, genomic, proteomic, and metabolic approaches to understand the complexities of adipose tissue development, function, and systemic metabolism. For more information about our team and our projects, visit our website (Shamsi Lab (https://www.shamsilab.com/) ).

We seek a highly driven and creative individual interested in metabolism, aging, and/or developmental biology to lead a multidisciplinary project aimed at understanding the mechanisms of brown fat aging.
