Description We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor/Manager based in New York, New York. This role involves leading the payroll function for a large team, offering a chance to work in a dynamic environment within the telecom provider industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for building out the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, and partnering with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building out the payroll team to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure all payroll is processed correctly and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.

• Handle biweekly payroll for a large team, ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on time.

• Cover all leaves, ensuring the payroll process is not disrupted during periods of staff absence.

• Utilize Workday and other accounting software systems for payroll processing and record keeping.

• Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Handle ad hoc projects related to payroll and financial operations.

• Conduct regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll processing.

• Oversee benefit functions in coordination with payroll operations.

• Process biweekly payroll and maintain accurate records for future reference. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Expertise in ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledgeable with ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with Ceridian software

• Strong background in Data Processing

• Experience with About Time software

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions

• Auditing skills

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions

• Understanding of Compliance regulations

• Proficiency in Workday software

• Experience with Workday Payroll

• Ability to Process Biweekly Payroll
