A& M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice, with offices throughout the US, focuses on serving private equity firms by improving operating results at their portfolio companies.

A& M PEPI's Transformation Services is a holistic, cross-functional approach that focuses on quickly identifying high impact opportunities for EBITDA and cash flow improvements across the entire organization. For this retail focused

Professional Experience:

Extensive Consulting and/or Consumer Retail Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success and in-depth knowledge in relevant subject matter areas.

Performance Improvement: Proven track record in implementing programs to enhance performance and reduce costs in the consumer or retails sectors. This includes redefining roles and responsibilities, establishing supportive processes, and executing workforce reductions.

Insightful Analysis: Skilled in synthesizing valuable insights from diverse data sources, including quantitative data, expert opinions, and information.

Strategic Development: Capable of developing findings and making strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis in the consumer or retail sector.

Hands-On Experience: Practical consumer or retail experience gained through consulting projects or industry work in several of the following areas:

  • Margin management, pricing strategies, and product/Sku optimization
  • Supply and demand planning
  • Sales and operations planning
  • Sourcing, production, and global supply chain management
  • Organizational structure and effectiveness
  • Process improvement and performance management metrics/KPIs
  • SG& A cost reduction


Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of consumer retail industry (preferably in merchandising, supply/demand planning, or sourcing) professional industry or consulting experience for consumer retail companies
  • Experience working with PE and/ or PE relationships a PLUS (personal or professional), but not required
  • Experience working in both professional services and industry a PLUS, but not required


The salary range is $125, 000--$190, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
