Intuit Manager Digital Sales, Inbound (Mailchimp) in New York, New York
Overview
The Inside Sales team is the first point of human contact for prospective customers who are learning how Mailchimp can add value to their business. The team works with businesses ranging from completely new to digital marketing to those switching from other providers and looking to optimize. We guide conversations with prospective customers who come to Mailchimp and inquire about our platform offerings with features, integrations, pricing, and security.
Through an "others-centered" selling approach, the team encourages accelerated feature adoption leading to enhanced value from our platform. Our team's guidance sets businesses up for success before their first touch point with Tech Support. If you're passionate about helping businesses grow, touting the benefits of smart marketing, and thrive on connections over the phone, in person, and via email with marketers, business leaders, and agencies, we'd like to talk to you.
We're looking for a highly-motivated, results-oriented, sales-trained individual to join our team. You are an expert on quickly establishing and strengthening relationships with potential customers virtually and in person, managing a team, and having a strong desire to use consumer and brand knowledge to develop strategies. You'll actively collaborate with our Finance, Marketing, Research, and Support teams to develop insightful conclusions from customer interactions, and create more relevant connections between potential customers and our brand.
What you'll bring
5+ years of SaaS sales experience (preferred)
2+ years of sales management; indirectly or directly leading sales teams
Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; polished presenter
Some travel required (up to 25%)
Bonus points for
Salesforce
Experience working with self-service SaaS solutions
Strong knowledge of market and competitive landscape
Working knowledge of MailChimp's ad and e-commerce features
Being multilingual in one or more major European languages
How you will lead
Resilient Problem Solving
Manage and prioritize Business Development team sales funnel, through all phases of the sales cycle
Create and execute short/long term sales roadmap strategies to capitalize on opportunities for areas of growth
Collaborate on examining customer's path-to-purchase, across .com, ads, and social touchpoints; recommend strategies and tactics for the Inside Sales Team's reach
Create efficient and reliable forecasts and sales performance reporting
Impactful Teamwork
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive best fit customers to Mailchimp and enhance our pricing strategy
Partner with marketing teams to execute strategy as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
Conduct performance reviews, create development plans, provide mentoring and training, and deliver ongoing performance feedback to direct reports
Customer-Driven Innovation
Develop an efficient and customer-obsessed sales process strategy
Align solutions to customer needs - strive to sell 100% "good fit" deals
Run customer listening sessions and pipeline reviews to continually understand customer and internal challenges, then work to overcome them.
Collect and present trends and themes from customer insights
Utilize strong understanding of SMB's needs in conjunction with Mailchimp's capabilities to positively impact conversions
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Mailchimp
