The Growth Marketing Associate will play an important role at Venmo in launching marketing campaigns with major merchants like Amazon, Starbucks, DoorDash, Uber and more. This team member will play a crucial role in driving our active base of nearly 90 million users to check out with Venmo.

This role will particularly focus on a newer experience our users know and love today - Venmo Checkout - along with a stealth product currently in development for launch in 2023. You will contribute to the holistic go-to-market strategy for these products and particularly own our strategy, execution and optimization within Venmo owned channels such as email, in-app banners and push notifications. **What You'll Do:**

- Define a go-to-market strategy for new Venmo products within Venmo channels, partnering closely with Marketing & Product leaders
- Execute that strategy and steer ongoing optimizations, working hands-on in our marketing tech stack and analytics dashboards to hit our overarching product adoption, revenue and ROI goals

- Lead the development of compelling and differentiated marketing creative, collaborating with both in-house and external design teams and also ushering assets through our approval processes
- Ground your marketing plans in data, leading the charge in summarizing what's working and not working and proactively diving into further analyses in order to amplify the impact of marketing
- Develop strong relationships with your partner teams in Product, Analytics, Finance, Design and Marketing


**What You'll Bring to the Table:**

- 5+ years' experience in Marketing or a similar field
- A deep sense of ownership and proactive leadership
- A user-centric mindset, hunger to learn and teach others and a readiness to roll up your sleeves
- Sharp analytical skills, with an ability to manage experiments and to draw out insights from data in order to tell a story
- Excellent communication skills, with experience tailoring your approach to audiences across functions and seniority levels

- Bachelor's degree required
- Nice-to-have: experience using tools such as Braze, Simon Data, Looker, and Amplitude

New York City Only : The pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary. All PayPal employees are shareholders in our Company, so equity is part of our total compensation plan.
