We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Corporate/Transactional Legal Secretary in the heart of New York, New York. This role is based in the legal industry and will be centered around supporting a Partner in their Tax practice. You will be working in a boutique law practice specializing in Trust & Estates, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, and Business & Tax Law matters.

Responsibilities:

• Support a Partner in their Tax practice by managing and organizing legal documents

• Assist with the drafting, redlining, and revising of contracts and agreements

• Handle a busy attorney calendar, including scheduling appointments and meetings

• Deliver high-quality proofreading service to ensure all documents are accurate and error-free

• Maintain and manage corporate legal files and documents

• Ensure all filings are set aside and appropriately organized

• Provide transactional law and legal support as required

• Utilize Microsoft Word to create and update documents

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Legal Secretary

• Proven proficiency in Calendar Management

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Corporate Legal processes

• Demonstrated ability in handling Transactional work

• Excellent Proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in Redlining legal documents

• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant is a must
