Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator-Supply Chain Inventory Management. In this role, the successful candidate is reporting to the AD of Inventory, the Coordinator / ParEx is responsible for creating, managing, predicting and monitoring supply chain inventory, par, and other product locations. The Coordinator is also responsible for par level active management, location updates, tracking, and proactive monitoring. The Coordinator will play an active role in the problem solving and is responsible for performing excellent analyzing problems and recommending creative solutions for the variability within the specific locations environment. The Coordinator will perform analysis of medical and surgical products in par locations, managed through ParEx technology. These activities also include identification of opportunities or perform analysis of supply chain operations activities and data to identify operational enhancements, transformation, and savings. A Coordinator should have strong presentation and communication skills and a high focus on attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Physically setup scales and bins as needed within the various stockrooms.
    • Physically reorganize scales and bins within stockrooms to accommodate new item adds.
    • Ensure all scales and bins are properly connected, and resolve any system communication issues.
    • Meet with nursing staff and reorganize stockrooms as needed.
    • Establish ongoing relationships to achieve highest level of engagement.
    • Perform analysis based on standard metrics and reporting to track inventory needs by location.
    • Manage location specific changes and technology optimizations.
    • Coordinate with distribution and warehouse management teams.
    • Coordinate with Ops team to manage location products, strategies, changes, and needs.
    • Uses expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, project management software (e.g., MS Project) and flowcharting software (e.g., Visio) to create daily deliverables accurately, with attention to detail, and on time.
    • Participates in identifying business and technical problems/ works with team to create innovative solutions.
    • Responsible to conduct research and analyze data
    • Conducts standardized analytics to effectively manage inventory control needs.
    • Ensures adequate supply levels and coordinates with necessary teams to mitigate risks.
    • Supports maintenance activities of inventory and par locations (ParExcellence, PeopleSoft)
    • Maintains open lines of communication with the clinical staff to ensure materials meet the required standard.
    • Performs necessary activities around backorder adjustments and works to eliminate stock outs.
    • Conducts location specific updates of product changes.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a To qualify you must have a BA/BS Degree
(3-5 yrs) Inventory management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines as required in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree
(5-7 yrs) Inventory management experience
Previous healthcare supply chain or materials management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines as required in a team environment
Communication skills

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $65,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
