A thriving real estate organization has a new opening for a Property Controller. This high-profile role is a once in a lifetime career opportunity and will allow you to play a key role supporting the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

• Overseeing operations of the accounting department, and directly supervising the AP and AR teams

• Preparing consolidated financials

• Developing accounting processes, including documentation of policies and procedures

• Coordinating annual audits

• Overseeing quarterly and year-end closings

• Reviewing monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts

• Assisting with production of the annual budget, forecasts, and reforecasts

• Performing ad hoc duties as needed

  Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and at least 8 years of experience, including supervising a team. CPA preferred. Must have extensive knowledge of Yardi. The Controller should feel comfortable collaborating with employees across the organization to develop creative and efficient solutions. This exciting opportunity will be filled by a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
