JPMorgan Chase Content and Communications Chief of Staff (VP) in New York, New York

We're looking for a VP-level Chief of Staff who will act as a strategic partner, supporting our Head of Content and Communications with effective communication, organization and execution of strategic initiatives as well as serving as a liaison with other executives and stakeholders. This role offers the chance to hone your strategic skillset, gain exposure and build relationships with leaders across our division, and manage projects that have broad and meaningful impact.

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to help drive key initiatives and operational management across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Content and Communications. The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner, supporting our Head of Content and Communications with effective communication, organization and execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives as well as serving as a liaison with other executives and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of JPMWM Content and Communications in managing the organization by helping to track critical deliverables and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Project manage key projects that span across the full team. Partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders and represent the Head of Content and Communications in working groups.

  • Work with financial partners and the leadership team to track overall budgets and assist with forecasting, planning, headcount, accruals and reconciliations.

  • Develop and support senior level strategic presentations, including decks, briefs and talking points.

  • Prepare full team agendas and manage the team's continuing education schedule and employee engagement events, including team offsites.

  • Help develop team priorities and track progress against them, including mid-year and end-of-year reports recapping the team's work.

  • Work with business management partners to keep the team's business resiliency plans up to date and ensure the team maintains proper system access.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • At least six years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications or other related area

  • Ability to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions and collaborate closely with the Content and Communications team, internal stakeholders, and senior leaders

  • Strong time management/prioritization skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced project management experience and organizational skills

  • Strategic mindset and focus on driving business results

  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters and exercise sound judgment

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and able to manage multiple workstreams

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Self-starter with a curious mind preferred

  • Experience within financial services industry a plus
